Job summary

Fine Fettle is seeking a Retail Team Lead to assist the General Manager in managing store operations. You will oversee customer experience, supervise employees, and help with product flow and merchandising on the sales floor.

The ideal candidate has retail experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a detail-oriented mindset. Roles involve shift flexibility, training team members, and ensuring compliance in a growing cannabis retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older per state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced customer-facing environments is advantageous.
• Bilingual or Spanish proficiency is beneficial.
• Flexibility with shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to pass a federal/background check as required.
• Strong interpersonal and sales abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to create a distinctive experience.
• Assist customers with product selection and cannabis recommendations.
• Lead cash handling from sales floor to back of house and manage cash procedures.
• Open and close store procedures and daily routines.
• Train Agents on SOPs and provide in-the-moment coaching.
• Conduct POS audits and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Retrieve merchandise from back-of-house to registers and support returns.
• Monitor shift times and breaks; coordinate daily operations with management.
• Organize vault for accuracy and compliance; manage inventory levels daily.
• Operate inventory software and input data into the POS system.
