Job summary

Curaleaf is hiring a Retail Sales Associate in Wesley Chapel, FL. You will greet guests, advise on cannabis products, process transactions, and help maintain a welcoming, compliant store environment. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 6+ months in sales or customer service and POS experience.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience in a customer-facing or sales role.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions.
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with customers and team members alike.
• Strong multitasking abilities and the agility to shift priorities as needed.
• Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new tools to support daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist all guests to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Build genuine connections with customers and offer personalized product advice.
• Address concerns professionally and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Encourage loyalty by signing guests up for rewards programs.
• Work with the team to maintain a respectful, inclusive store environment.
• Open/close the store, handle cash, and follow procedures and regulations.
• Check IDs, update customer profiles, and process transactions accurately.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and stocked, including backroom inventory.
• Support inventory tasks like restocking and fulfilling online orders.
• Aim to beat daily sales goals through upselling and product knowledge.
