Job summary

Good Day Farm is seeking an Assistant General Retail Manager in Louisiana to support the Retail General Manager in daily operations. Responsibilities include staff leadership, payroll alignment, and ensuring strong customer service and inventory control.

The role emphasizes driving revenue, training, and maintaining store standards. Experience in cannabis retail and compliance is preferred; background checks are required. This is an on-site leadership position at our Louisiana location.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year in a leadership position in retail, hospitality, service, or cannabis related industries.
• Cannabis industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to clear a background check.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated capability in people management and culture building.
• Positive attitude and flexibility.
• Demonstrated experience in cash and inventory management.
• Microsoft Suite experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff training and development, assist in hiring and team management, conduct employee reviews, build staff schedules, and assist the General Manager in meeting payroll expectations.
• Be a cultural leader for all team members and lead by example to meet company culture goals and expectations.
• Lead and assist in staff coaching and setting standards of success for every team member.
• Lead and assist in meeting revenue and sales expectations with holistic management practices, staff training, and customer relations.
• Effectively communicate sales goals, promotions, and business expectations with staff on a daily basis.
• Build meaningful relationships with customers and lead by example for team members in developing a culture of customer service.
