Renew Cannabis Co. is seeking an Assistant General Retail Manager to support store operations, leadership, and compliance within a cannabis retail environment in Louisiana. You will lead staff, drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure excellent customer service daily.

The role requires strong communication, adaptability, and a track record of staff coaching and operational excellence. This on-site position reports to the Retail General Manager and offers growth within a regulated industry.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a leadership role in retail, hospitality, service, or cannabis-related industries.
• Cannabis industry experience preferred.
• Must clear a background check.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage people and build culture.
• Positive attitude and flexibility.
• Cash and inventory management experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff training and development; assist in hiring and team management; help with payroll and schedules.
• Be a cultural leader and coach to meet company standards.
• Support revenue and sales goals through staff leadership and customer relations.
• Communicate goals, promotions, and expectations to staff daily.
• Develop customer service culture and relationships with customers.
• Manage inventory processes and reconciliation to prevent loss.
• Oversee daily store opening/closing, cash handling, and store upkeep.
• Ensure accurate online menus and stock levels; monitor stocking needs.
• Coordinate with GM on price promotions and loyalty initiatives.
