Job summary

Deep Roots Harvest is seeking a Retail Operations Lead for its Water Street location in Nevada. The role acts as an on-duty Retail Host and operational lead in a high-volume cannabis retail environment, driving customer experience, compliance, and shift-level coordination.

The position reports to the General Manager and requires adaptability to evenings, weekends, and holidays. Nevada regulations and company policies govern daily duties, including cash handling and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of retail or operational experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with POS systems, inventory systems, and standard office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers by providing product information to support informed purchasing decisions.
• Verify customer eligibility and identification per Nevada cannabis laws before completing sales.
• Operate and maintain the POS system accurately.
• Ensure accuracy of transactions, cash handling, and inventory data.
• Greet customers and answer phone inquiries professionally.
• Assist with inventory intake, stocking, merchandising, and sales floor organization.
• Open/close the store and support shift transitions as assigned.
• Coordinate and support compliant, smooth day-to-day operations.
