Job summary

Renew Cannabis Co. in Bethesda is seeking a Leader in Training to support daily operations, supervise staff, and enhance the customer journey. This role rotates through critical dispensary functions to build expertise and progress toward an Assistant General Manager position.

You will participate in on-duty shifts, coach team members, ensure compliance, and manage inventory while upholding security policies in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of customer service or retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Cannabis experience preferred
• Inventory control experience preferred
• Meet scheduling and availability requirements (varying shifts, including mornings, days, nights, weekends)
• Reliable, responsible attendance
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must pass required background checks
• Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID
• Understand cannabis laws, rules and regulations, and have a passion to learn more

Responsibilities

• supervise dispensary operations to ensure compliance with security, inventory, and state/local regulations
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels and communicate actions with management
• Oversee deliveries, transfers, and inventory management with vault accuracy
• Lead team members to execute programs and regional in-store promotions
• Demonstrate proper cash handling and oversee staff cash practices
• Lead on-duty shifts to supervise and recognize staff
• Ensure seamless omni-channel customer experience across in-store, drive-thru, curbside & delivery
• Maintain scheduling, ensure adequate coverage and zoning during shifts
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members to meet performance expectations
