Job summary

Mint Cannabis Co. is seeking a Retail Lead to act as an operational extension of the Store Manager. You will oversee shift teams, ensure guest service, and maintain floor workflow across a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.

Your role focuses on coaching 25+ team members, managing openings/closings, cash handling, POS usage, inventory control, and adherence to Michigan regulations. This position requires 21+ and background check completion.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in the cannabis industry
• Leadership background with experience managing large teams is a plus
• Experience in sales preferred; must be 21+ and pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Daily leadership: oversee 25+ team members and upsell opportunities; ensure inventory responsibilities are performed
• Sales coaching: provide feedback to the team and drive sales metrics
• Inventory control: coach team to scan out products to reduce shrinkage
• Floor operations: manage store openings/closings, cash reconciliation, and POS usage
• Compliance: understand Michigan cannabis compliance requirements and walk through state inspections to reduce deficiencies
