Job summary

The role includes inventory duties (about 30%), compliance with state/local laws, operating POS and cash handling, and assisting Cannabis Advisors with product questions. Flexibility, weekend shifts, and willingness to learn about cannabinoids are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling demands including some weekends, regularly scheduled shifts, and applicable holidays.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software, i.e., Word, Excel, email, etc.
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Assist in inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies to leadership.
• Provide product information and educate customers on cannabis usage as a wellness product (not medical advice).
• Open and close store as directed by the AGM or GM.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation and storefront.
• Complete transactions at the POS and ensure proper cash handling as directed.
