Job summary

The Apothecarium is seeking a Retail Inventory Specialist to manage back-of-house operations, vault organization, and inventory reconciliation across medical and adult-use licenses.

You will work with Finance, Procurement, and IT systems to ensure accurate counting, reporting, and data-driven improvements, including cycle counts, EOM, and POS/Metrc alignment.

This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with strong Excel skills and a proven record in audits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree desirable.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• 1+ years industry experience preferred.
• Experience with audits and month-ending reporting.
• Strong Excel and analytics tools knowledge.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute inventory counts with the operations supervisor.
• Maintain menu balancing in dual-license environment.
• Research and correct failed sales in Metrc and fix discrepancies.
• Compare system vs physical counts to identify shortages and root causes.
• Prepare monthly Systems vs. Physical Count Reports.
• Monitor inventory receiving for accuracy and documentation.
• Coordinate with Finance, Procurement for ERP alignment and state tracking.
• Participate in End-of-Month inventory and cycle counts.
• Seek process improvements to increase throughput and BoH standards.
