Job summary

The Apothecarium, part of TerrAscend, is seeking a Retail Inventory Specialist to oversee back‑of‑house operations including vault organization, inventory balancing, and accuracy across medical and adult-use shelves. You will report to the Retail Operations Supervisor and leverage data to drive improvements.

Ideal candidates have audit experience, strong Excel skills, and a proven track record with Metrc and ERP systems, with the ability to work evenings and weekends in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with audits and month-ending reporting processes.
• Strong inventory track record.
• Strong understanding in Metrc and sweed platforms.
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel, inventory management software and tools, and analytics.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication with multiple levels and departments.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on process optimization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute inventory counts in the dispensary.
• Ensure menu balancing in dual license environment (Medical & AU).
• Research and correct failed sales within Metrc and other discrepancies.
• Analyze levels of products to determine shortages and root causes for improvement.
• Prepare monthly Systems vs. Physical Count Reports for management.
• Monitor inventory receiving process for accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, and Purchasing to align ERP and state tracking.
• Participate in EOM inventory and cycle counts to set standards and reconcile results.
• Identify process improvements to increase throughput and compliance with regulations.
