Job summary

TerrAscend in New Jersey is seeking a Retail Inventory Specialist to manage back-of-house operations, vaults, and dual-license inventory balancing between medical and adult use. You will balance the menu, reconcile discrepancies in Metrc and POS, and coordinate with Finance, Procurement, and Purchasing to align ERP with state tracking.

The ideal candidate has strong audits, Excel, and data-analysis skills, 1+ year in cannabis or inventory roles, and a proven eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Experience with audits and month-ending reporting processes.
• Strong inventory track record.
• Strong understanding in Metrc and sweed platforms.
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel, inventory management software and tools, and use of other software systems used for analytics.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication with multiple levels and departments.
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
• Detail-oriented with an eye on process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute inventory counts in the dispensary with the operations supervisor.
• Ensure menu balancing in dual license environment (Medical & AU storefronts).
• Research and correct failed sales within Metrc and other discrepancies.
• Compare system vs. physical levels to identify shortages and report root causes.
• Prepare Systems vs. Physical Count Reports for monthly management.
• Monitor inventory receiving for accuracy, documentation, and timeliness.
• Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, and Purchasing to align ERP with state tracking.
• Participate in End-of-Month inventory and cycle counts to set standards and reconcile results.
• Identify process improvements to increase throughput for EOM Inventory and BOH controls.
• Ensure inventory control processes follow state CRC regulations.
