Job summary

Native Roots Cannabis Co. is seeking a General Manager to lead store operations, drive sales targets, and manage a team of hourly staff. You will develop and execute store strategies with the District Manager to reach performance goals while ensuring compliance with MED regulations.

You will oversee cash handling, inventory, training, scheduling, and customer relationships, building brand loyalty and operational excellence across the location.

Qualifications

• 6 years of customer service and/or sales experience.
• 2 years management or supervisory experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must hold or obtain a valid Colorado MED Employee Badge.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using retail POS and loyalty systems.
• Proficiency using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office programs including Gmail, Calendar Docs, Sheets, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of METRC.
• Knowledge of local and state laws related to cannabis sales including MED regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manages all recreational and medical cannabis sales operations and personnel within the store.
• Coaches and motivates the store team to achieve retail objectives and initiatives.
• Manages store opening and closing procedures.
• Builds and increases customer retention and brand loyalty.
• Trains sales processes and ensures high standards of customer service.
• Escalates and resolves customer complaints.
• Performs daily cash verifications and recordings.
• Manages store delivery, transfers, and inventory management.
• Ensures compliance with internal policies and state regulations.
• Manages budget reporting and store performance against budget.
• Maintains store cleanliness and organization in all areas.
