Job summary

Curaleaf is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Manchester, CT store. You will support the Store Manager to develop, lead, and motivate a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences while achieving financial targets.

You will act as Manager on Duty, educate guests on products, and uphold Curaleaf service traits. Travel for training or coverage may be required; 10–25% travel, with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail and/or customer service experience in a high-paced selling environment.
• Minimum 1 year of retail supervisory experience.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of KPIs and financial targets.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights.
• Experience in a heavily regulated industry.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Salesmanship with a track record of driving revenue.
• Attention to cash handling and POS accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and run the business in the absence of the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with Store Manager and District Manager to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Lead selling behaviors aligned with brand culture to build loyal customer relationships and hit financial targets.
• Monitor customer service, provide feedback and coaching to team members.
• Share best practices to deliver a distinctive and delightful guest experience.
• Supervise store operations: opening/closing, shifts, delegation, scheduling.
• Oversee cash handling: register, deposits, time reports, and bookkeeping.
• Analyze inventory trends and supervise stock levels and ordering.
• Maintain knowledge of computer systems and POS software (LeafLogix, etc.).
• Comply with company policies; maintain respectful coworker relationships.
• Willing to travel to other locations for training and coverage (10–25%).
