Job summary

Minnesota Cannabis Services is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store operations and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced, highly regulated cannabis retail environment.

You’ll drive daily operations, manage cash/inventory, train staff, and ensure a compliant, customer-first experience across shifts, including evenings and weekends. Equal opportunity employer with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of retail, hospitality, or customer service experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Cannabis industry experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure SOP compliance.
• Manage shift coverage, timesheets, and staffing adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with state cannabis regulations and internal procedures.
• Lead training and development for staff; performance documentation.
• Coach budtenders on product knowledge, service standards, and compliance.
