Job summary

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of inventory management practices.
• Experience in manufacturing scheduling required.
• Cannabis industry experience preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to lead cross-dept teams on schedule.
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong data analytics and database management.

Responsibilities

• Set weekly production plans for processing division.
• Sequence production lines daily to optimize efficiency and minimize changeovers.
• Track and monitor daily volumes planned and released to verify variances.
• Collaborate with Demand Planner and Material Planner to optimize availability.
• Drive the operational shift hours for production departments.
• Align departments to keep plan on track and updated as needed.
• Prepare reports on planning/scheduling status as necessary.
• Contribute to long-term supply chain improvements.
• Interface with external departments to bring new products to market.
• Identify areas of improvement and actions.
