Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) in Ocala, FL seeks a Production Scheduler to own the master production schedule and coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Compliance. You’ll translate demand into executable weekly and daily plans while balancing labor, materials, and quality.

You will drive scheduling to minimize inventory risk, meet regulatory timelines, and support profitable growth, collaborating across QA, Procurement, and Operations in a fast-paced cannabis manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a production environment as a Production Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; knowledge of Tableau and state tracking systems is a plus.
• Initiative-taking, self-directed, and able to work independently or in teams.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Adaptable in a demanding, fast-paced setting with a focus on quality and compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to build relationships across departments.
• Understanding of state regulations and company policies for the industry.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with solid project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain Master Production Schedule across product categories.
• Convert monthly plans into detailed weekly/daily schedules by department.
• Sequence production to optimize throughput and protect quality outcomes.
• Adjust schedules based on demand, labor, materials, QA timing, and regulatory limits.
• Collaborate with QA, Procurement, Operations, and Finance to align schedules.
• Monitor WIP and finished goods; manage inventory readiness and risk.
• Track KPIs: schedule adherence, plan attainment, and labor utilization.
