Green Thumb Industries (GTI) in Danville, PA is seeking a Production Scheduler to translate demand and supply plans into executable schedules. You will balance labor, materials, inventory, quality, safety, and compliance while coordinating with Sales, Supply Chain Planning, Procurement and Operations.

This role requires the ability to manage a high SKU mix, changing priorities, and real-world constraints, ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient production execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production environment as a Production Supervisor or similar supply chain and procurement experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook).
• Tableau & state tracking systems (METRC, Biotrack, MJ Freeway) a plus.
• Initiative-taking, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with commitment to quality work.
• High attention to details and due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) across all product categories.
• Convert monthly production plans into detailed weekly and daily schedules by department and process.
• Sequence production to optimize throughput, minimize changeovers, and protect quality outcomes.
• Adjust schedules based on demand changes, labor availability, material constraints, QA release timing, and regulatory limits.
• Establish routings, run rates, batch sizes, and standard hours for all unit operations.
• Balance line loading across departments and shifts, including overtime planning.
• Coordinate production timing with state traceability systems (METRC or equivalent).
• Schedule production around inspections, audits, reporting deadlines, and compliance constraints.
• Monitor WIP and Finished Goods inventory to align with shipment velocity and forecasts.
• Partner with Inventory and Finance to reconcile AFS with state systems.
• Own schedule changes and escalation when plans break.
• Act as owner of scheduling-related systems and report key metrics.
