Job summary

Claybourne Co. is actively seeking an experienced Cannabis Production Manager in Perris, CA to oversee the end-to-end manufacturing of pre-rolls and flower.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain quality standards, and drive production efficiency while leading a growing production team. The role requires 3–5 years of managerial manufacturing experience in cannabis, a relevant bachelor's degree, and proficiency with ERP and planning tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business management, or related certifications.
• 3-5 years of managerial experience in cannabis product manufacturing or a related industry.
• Knowledge of cannabis pre-roll or flower production processes.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in cannabis manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in production management software and tools (ERP, Google Sheets, Excel, Metric, Distru).
• Experience managing a team of 50+ production workers and supervisors.
• Process development, improvement and deployment; some project management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end production process, from inputs to packaging.
• Ensure adherence to state regulations in all production activities.
• Train and develop production supervisors; lead production teams.
• Maintain manufacturing machine run rates and optimize production efficiencies.
• Manage labor resources to keep production lines optimized.
• Coordinate with cultivation and sales to meet market demands and lean inventories.
