Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and support our cannabis manufacturing facility's production operations. You will ensure product quality standards and inventory integrity, with hands-on supervision on the plant floor.

Responsibilities include leading teams, organizing workflow, implementing policies, coaching employees, monitoring output, ensuring safety, and maintaining compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a production environment with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement and Kaizen principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead production employees to perform in a proficient manner and motivate by example.
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and monitoring progress.
• Establish and implement departmental policies, goals and objectives.
• Communicate expectations, plan, monitor and appraise results.
• Coach and develop employees; assign, direct, and assess work.
• Create and oversee employee training schedules to boost productivity.
• Use analytical skills to monitor output and ensure specifications.
• Ensure safety procedures and regulatory compliance are followed.
• Identify issues, propose improvements, and drive efficiency gains.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support budgeting goals.
• Lead the team to produce quality products meeting internal specs.
• Conduct root-cause analysis when targets are not met.
