Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our cannabis manufacturing facility. You will spend substantial time on the plant floor, ensuring product quality and inventory integrity while leading production employees.

Responsibilities include organizing workflow, implementing policies, coaching staff, ensuring safety compliance, and driving efficiency. Candidates should have 5+ years in production with 2+ in supervision and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a production environment
• 2+ years in supervisory capacity
• Experience directing and evaluating subordinates
• Professionalism with integrity; works independently or in a team; strong communication

Responsibilities

• Lead production employees to perform proficiently and motivate through example
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities
• Establish and improve departmental policies, goals and objectives
• Communicate expectations, plan, monitor and evaluate results
• Coach and develop employees; direct work; address performance and complaints
• Create and oversee an employee training schedule
• Use analytics to monitor production and ensure specifications compliance
• Enforce safety and operating procedures; manage safety awareness
• Identify efficiency and productivity issues and propose improvements
• Maintain inventory accuracy and department budgeting goals
• Maintain production efficiencies as directed by leadership
• Lead the team to produce quality products meeting internal specs
• Perform root cause analysis when targets aren’t met

Education

High school diploma or GED

BSc/BA preferred
