Job summary

The Processing Technician at Cresco Labs is responsible for operating equipment to process and sort harvest material while maintaining quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in a food production or similar manufacturing environment and can thrive in a fast-paced, loud setting.

You will operate trimming and sorting machinery, weigh and log material, collect samples for tests, and ensure strict sanitary conditions between runs.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have 1 year in food production/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of machine safety and lockout/tagout.
• Detail-oriented with adherence to strict policies and procedures.
• Ability to measure, package and label precisely.
• Strong time-management and multi-tasking skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, loud environment.
• Exposure to plant material and dust.
• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel and perform repetitive tasks.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate harvest processing equipment by hand and with trimming/sorting machinery.
• Operate trimming and sorting machinery to sort product.
• Collaborate with sorting team to maximize efficiency.
• Grate and sort processed material.
• Weigh and log material for records.
• Collect samples and perform quality tests.
• Maintain sanitary conditions; clean equipment between runs.
• Transport products to storage and ensure quality and compliance.
• Support other functions as demands change.
