Job summary

Greenleaf Therapeutics, a Canopy USA subsidiary, is seeking a Packaging Technician to ensure accurate and compliant packaging of products. The role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and growth opportunities within a QA-focused environment.

The position reports to the Quality Assurance Packaging Manager and is entry-level with strong attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Six (6) months of previous relevant work experience within other packaging, pharmaceutical or biotech firms.
• Strong problem solving and mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and make quick decisions in accordance with SOPs and training.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to enter and maintain accurate data in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor all tasks in packaging areas, including packaging flower, edibles, and concentrates with precise weights and counts.
• Regularly examine machine operation and learn how to run and troubleshoot machinery.
• Train new team members on the job.
• Maintain equipment in good condition and clean machines.
• Follow SOPs, QA/QC checks, and state regulations.
