Job summary

Kaycha Labs, LLC is seeking a detail‑oriented Sample Intake specialist in Massachusetts to accurately receive, document, and process customer samples while ensuring chain of custody and compliance. You will log samples in LIMS and METRC and support lab staff to prioritize workflow and meet customer needs.

This role involves customer-facing responsibilities, strong communication, and strict adherence to state regulations. A high school diploma is required; cannabis industry exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of standard laboratory protocol a plus.
• Exposure to the cannabis industry is a plus.
• Must pass Level 2 background check.

Responsibilities

• Process customer samples for laboratory testing according to SOPs and chain of custody.
• Log samples into LIMS and METRC to ensure traceability.
• Photograph samples following aseptic guidelines.
• Collaborate with lab staff to prioritize samples to meet customer needs.
• Assist customers with sample submission requirements.
• Identify intake issues and report to management for resolution.
• Assist in ordering supplies for the laboratory.
• Assist in disposition of samples per regulations.
• Answer phones and communicate professionally.
• Nurture relationships with existing and new customers.
