Job summary

Kaycha Labs is seeking an Operations Specialist to support multi-site laboratory initiatives across our cannabis and hemp testing network. This role requires hands-on project coordination, SOP development, and close collaboration with Lab Directors, analysts, and operations leadership.

The position involves up to 80% travel to Kaycha locations, driving process improvements, training coordination, and implementation of operational projects across states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in laboratory operations or project coordination preferred.
• Experience in regulated labs or cannabis/hemp testing is a plus.
• Familiarity with analytical workflows, instrumentation, and quality systems is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-site laboratory projects from planning through completion.
• Maintain project documentation, timelines, and action trackers.
• Collaborate with Operations leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Identify delays or resource needs and communicate with leadership.
• Develop and help implement SOPs, processes, and checklists.
• Support transitions during new laboratory openings, relocations, or expansions.
