Job summary

Vireo Health in Maryland seeks an Inventory Specialist to support the Inventory Manager by handling picking, packing, and shipping of cannabis inventory for retail stores. You’ll manage cycle counts, stock levels in the warehouse and vault, and ensure accurate record-keeping across the inventory system.

You will work with QA, Cultivation, and other departments to maintain real-time stock accuracy, adhere to safety standards, and support special projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in inventory management preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations
• Familiarity with electronic inventory systems and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with BioTrack, Leaf Logix, MJ Freeway, METRC, Leafly, Dutchie, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes precisely
• Must be 21 years or older

Responsibilities

• Execute picking, packing, and manifesting orders for timely shipments
• Coordinate with QA and Cultivation to ensure proper packing and labeling
• Perform routine cycle counts and report discrepancies
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Update electronic inventory records for all movements
• Monitor transfers and adjust system to reflect real-time stock
• Tag and store incoming goods per standards
• Assist in generating inventory reports for management
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in handling inventory
