Job summary

Vireo Health in Maryland is seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to support the Inventory Manager. You will handle picking, packing, and shipping, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate stock in the warehouse and vault.

You will work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and precise record-keeping. Responsibilities include tagging with METRC, updating the inventory system, and ensuring regulatory compliance while maintaining safe, organized storage areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certificates preferred.
• 1+ years in inventory management, warehousing, or related field.
• Familiar with electronic inventory systems and basic Excel skills.
• Experience with cannabis-specific systems (METRC, BioTrack, Leafly, Dutchie) preferred.
• Attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute picking, packing, and manifesting of orders for retail locations.
• Coordinate with Quality/Cultivation to ensure correct labeling and packing.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies; document findings.
• Update inventory system with receiving, storing, and shipping data.
• Monitor transfers and adjustments to maintain real-time accuracy.
• Assist in production kit prep for manufacturing teams.
• Ensure compliance tags (METRC) are attached to plants and records kept.
• Maintain orderly warehouse and vault areas; enforce safety standards.
