Job summary

Renew Cannabis Co. is seeking an Inventory Associate to manage daily inventory operations in our Vista storefront. You will ensure accurate counts, receive shipments, barcode items, and maintain METRC and POS accuracy while ensuring products are properly labeled and regulatory compliant.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and assisting budtenders as needed. A strong focus on customer experience and teamwork is essential in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of retail or customer service experience.
• Inventory experience in a retail environment.
• METRC or similar cannabis seed-to-sale tracking software experience.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Barcode all new inventory in the POS system.
• Audit physical inventory against virtual records.
• Perform daily/weekly cycle counts and verification.
• Log customer transactions accurately in the POS system.
• Maintain records for non-stock and unavailable inventory.
• Follow cannabis waste procedures and schedules.
• Create a calendar of upcoming expired products.
• Assist budtenders as directed by manager.
• Provide excellent customer experience.
