PAX Labs is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to bring our cannabis brand to life in New Jersey, focusing on licensed dispensaries and key retail partners. You will translate national strategies into local programs to raise awareness, education, trial, and sell-through.

The role demands strong in-market leadership, relationships with budtenders and store managers, and hands-on activation planning. Expect 60–70% time in market and extensive travel.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years in field, retail, or experiential marketing for a consumer brand.
• Proven success planning and executing retail programs, activations, and events.
• Strong relationship-building with sales, retail, vendors, and external partners.
• Excellent project management with timelines, logistics, and budgets.
• Experience gathering market feedback and translating it into insights.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Comfort spending significant time in market, including evenings, weekends, and travel.
• Experience in cannabis, CPG, beverage alcohol, consumer electronics, wellness, or another regulated category is preferred.
• Familiarity with licensed retailers, cannabis consumers, and state compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own how PAX shows up across dispensaries, including merchandising and in-store touchpoints.
• Build market visitation cadence, audit execution, and partner with retailers to close gaps.
• Prioritize accounts with Sales and deploy field resources for awareness and sell-through.
• Support product launches, promotions, and campaigns with consistent retail execution.
• Monitor competitive activity and translate field observations into recommendations.
