Job summary

Mint Cannabis in Georgetown, SC is seeking a Retail Lead to guide day-to-day dispensary operations, coach Budtenders, ensure top-notch customer service, and maintain a compliant, organized sales floor. You will report to the Store Manager, oversee floor activities, verify product allotments, and help manage scheduling and performance feedback while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service or cannabis retail experience required.
• 1+ year of leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and team-building skills.
• Working knowledge of cannabis products, POS systems, and customer service best practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (3+ hours) and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card (or equivalent license) if required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to open and close the store in accordance with company policy.
• Oversee daily dispensary floor operations and ensure staff are supported and efficient.
• Verify allotments, guide patients through product selection, and deliver exceptional service.
• Mentor and train Budtenders and delegate tasks as needed.
• Ensure product displays are clean, properly labeled, rotated, and fully stocked.
• Handle customer concerns, assist with de-escalation, and support team performance.
• Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and assist with daily cash reconciliation.
• Maintain a clean, compliant, and professional retail environment.
• Support management with team communication, scheduling, and daily feedback.
