Ayr Wellness, a leading U.S. multi-state cannabis operator, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and leadership team in Reno, NV.

You will help oversee daily dispensary operations, ensure compliance with state and local rules, and grow a motivated team passionate about cannabis. The role emphasizes staffing, training, KPI tracking, patient education, and maintaining a patient-focused, compliant store environment.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age requirements as determined by local, state, and federal requirements.
• Must complete background check as required by local, state, and federal requirements.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks... lift up to 75 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily operations of a medical marijuana dispensary under licensure.
• Administer routine inspections to maintain accurate cannabis product inventory.
• Supervise dispensary staff and make hiring/discipline/advancement decisions.
• Ensure store procedures are updated for best practices by staff and patients.
• Train staff on SOPs and product knowledge to ensure consistency.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manage daily financial reporting and cash handling procedures.
• Develop and maintain staff schedules.
• Communicate incidents or complaints to leadership and compliance teams.
