Job summary

C3 Industries is seeking a Shift Lead for the High Profile Cannabis Shop in Grant, MI. This role focuses on supervising daily store operations and actively driving sales by guiding customers to products that best meet their needs and preferences.

You will open/close the store, manage cash and POS tasks, train team members, and ensure compliance with state regulations while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience opening and closing a retail store or restaurant preferred.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling practices.
• Commitment to reaching KPIs on a regular basis.
• Effective multi-tasker with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of state and local regulations preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required state licenses based on work location.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on entry and verify IDs.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and conversion goals using strong product knowledge.
• Assist customers with state-required forms and update POS information as needed.
• Maintain a clean, stocked sales floor and manage downtime tasks.
• Educate customers on cannabis properties and effects according to their needs.
• Fill online orders quickly while ensuring compliance and customer experience.
• Serve as a sales and service role model for the team.
• Handle customer complaints professionally with management support.
• Maintain product knowledge and current cannabis trends and regulations.
• Use and maintain POS systems; manage cash per company policies.
• Open and close the store; assist with product intake and inventory.
• Participate in management meetings and suggest improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all dispensary policies and schedules.
• Support training of new staff on duties, POS, inventory, and sales tactics.
• Participate in tip pooling as assigned.
