High Profile Cannabis Shop in Grant, MI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily dispensary operations, drive sales growth, and ensure state compliance. You will supervise staff, deliver outstanding customer service, and partner with the Store Manager to implement sales strategies.

You will mentor team members on product knowledge, POS usage, inventory, and safety protocols while helping manage schedules, cash handling, and end-of-day reporting to optimize profitability.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years retail management experience or equivalent.
• Ability to open and close the store independently.
• Experience with POS and inventory management systems.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to obtain & maintain required state licenses based on work location.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract and retain repeat customers.
• Assist with all aspects of store performance with a focus on sales growth, operational efficiency, and profitability, while delivering best-in-class customer service.
• Lead by example in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service, engaging on the sales floor and at the register.
• Assist with tracking progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals through reporting and data analysis.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, assist with intakes, and communicate discrepancies to Store Manager.
• Participate in management and store meetings, offering suggestions for employee development and sales opportunities.
• Maintain visual standards, including merchandise presentation, signage, lighting, and general maintenance.
• Assist with developing the store schedule to ensure proper coverage during peak hours.
• Handle and mitigate customer complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Educate staff on product knowledge, POS, loyalty programs, loss prevention, and safety protocols.
