Sanctuary Medicinals in Woburn, MA is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join the opening team. You will greet customers, verify IDs, manage check-in, and keep the reception area organized in a fast-paced cannabis retail setting.

This role requires friendly, dependable individuals with strong communication and multitasking skills, able to handle phone inquiries, provide product information, and uphold security and compliance standards throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of customer service or receptionist experience preferred.
• Retail, hospitality, or regulated industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Massachusetts cannabis regulations is a plus.
• Experience with online menu systems or POS systems preferred.
• Cannabis product knowledge preferred but training will be provided.
• Experience working in fast-paced or security-focused environments is a plus.

• Greet customers and visitors warmly while creating a welcoming first impression.
• Verify customer identification and age in compliance with Massachusetts CCC regulations.
• Manage customer check-in processes with accurate data entry and attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
• Assist with customer flow and communication between departments to create a smooth experience.
• Support managers and staff with operational tasks as needed throughout the shift.
• Answer phone calls professionally and assist customers with general questions.
• Provide accurate information regarding store hours, policies, promotions, and product availability.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and methods of consumption.
• Handle customer concerns calmly and professionally while escalating issues when appropriate.
