Job summary

Texas Original Compassionate Cultivation is seeking a Dispensary Associate to join our Houston area team. The role focuses on delivering exceptional patient service, processing orders, and maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.

You will use the POS system to manage patient profiles, assist with orders, and contribute to a smooth, compliant dispensary operation while supporting team goals and patient education efforts.

Qualifications

• Ability to ensure HIPAA, local and state cannabis regulations are followed.
• High standards for order accuracy and inventory audits.
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and track orders.
• Experience with POS systems and digital inventory platforms.
• Ability to design and improve workflows for order accuracy and timely delivery.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate team members.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage patients with a warm, welcoming manner and offer personalized recommendations.
• Handle patient issues and complaints professionally with retention in mind.
• Uphold inventory control to minimize loss per state and company procedures.
• Learn and operate POS systems to set up patient profiles and process transactions.
• Build and maintain patient relationships and gather feedback for improvements.
• Educate patients about the Compassionate Use Program and Texas Original.
• Ensure compliance with policies, security protocols, and HR policies.
• Process online orders accurately and assist customers by phone or in person.
• Verify prescriptions, pick products, and pack orders with accuracy.
