Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. in Reno, Nevada is looking for a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service, educate customers about cannabis products, and assist with patient records where required.

You'll greet customers, help them navigate product options, ensure compliance with local/state laws, maintain a clean store, and process transactions at the POS while safeguarding inventory accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with local/state/company regulations.
• Criminal background check and state badging as directed by law.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes, and product use methods.
• Ability to use basic office software (Word, Excel, email).
• Understand Federal, State, and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and usage as wellness items.
• Assist customers in navigating product options and building rapport for return visits.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation and storefront.
• Ensure accuracy of online orders before pickup.
• Handle POS transactions and update inventory in the system.
• Stock, merchandize, and replenish displays of inventory.
