Job summary

Renew Cannabis Co. in Frederick, MD seeks a full-time cultivation assistant to support the Cultivation Manager and Vegetation Manager in all aspects of commercial cannabis cultivation at our Frederick facility.

The ideal candidate values safety, timeliness, cleanliness, and teamwork, can follow instructions, and is flexible with plant needs. A MCA badge, fingerprinting, and background check are required; at least 21 years old; cannabis experience not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cannabis not required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Badging by MCA and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Manage commercial garden needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule.
• Defoliation and general canopy maintenance.
• Track and tag plants for inventory and identification purposes.
• Trellising plants in flowering environments.
• Clone, propagation, transplanting, drying, curing, and trimming plants.
• Manage plant feeding schedules and reservoir maintenance.
• Maintain daily logs for processes throughout the facility.
• Manage proper waste disposal.
