Job summary

The Cannabist Company in Frederick, MD is seeking a Cultivation Technician to care for cannabis plants through germination, vegetative, flowering, and harvest stages. You will journal and track observations in the company software and work full-time in a demanding cultivation facility.

Qualifications

• Must have MEDbadge.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of regulations related to Medical Use of Marijuana Program.
• Experience with plant care and general horticulture.
• Ability to work in hot, humid conditions on concrete for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Care for plants through germination, vegetative, flowering and harvest stages.
• Record observations in the company software tracking system.
• Clone, water, fertilize, and prune plants as needed.
• Harvest, transplant or pot plants and label them accurately.
• Inspect plants for pests or disease and monitor growth.
• Maintain clean work areas and sanitation standards.
• Follow daily room-checklist and maintain appropriate inventory.
