Job summary

Renew Cannabis Co. in Frederick, MD seeks a full-time cultivation assistant to support the Cultivation Manager and Vegetation Manager in all aspects of commercial cannabis cultivation at our Frederick facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Manage commercial garden needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule.

• Trellising plants in flowering environments.
• Clone, propagation, transplanting, drying, curing, and trimming plants.
• Manage plant feeding schedules and reservoir maintenance.
• Maintain daily logs for processes throughout the facility.
• Manage proper waste disposal.

Job description

This is a full-time position that will assist the Cultivation Manager and Vegetation Manager in all aspects of commercial cannabis cultivation at our Frederick Maryland facility. The ideal candidate will maintain a high degree of work safety, timeliness, and cleanliness, while also displaying the ability to work well within a team setting, and most importantly, be able to follow instructions. A flexible availability will sometimes be required, based on the needs of the plants. It will be imperative to maintain company standards of productivity and quality, while also displaying creative problem solving and critical thinking as relevant to an issue.

This position will be badged by the Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA), which requires fingerprinting and passing a background check by the candidate. The job description below represents typical tasks and duties for the position. Other responsibilities may be assigned to accommodate the needs of the business. Experience in cannabis is not necessary. Must be at least 21 years of age.
