Job summary

Story Cannabis is hiring a Cultivation Associate to support all stages of the cannabis growth cycle in Maryland. You will work hands-on in grow rooms performing tasks such as transplanting, pruning, watering, and harvesting while following SOPs and maintaining documentation.

The role emphasizes plant care, attention to detail, and safe handling of nutrients and pesticides in a fast-paced environment. Evening/weekend shifts may be required, with full-time benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience or knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture desirable.
• Previous manufacturing or laborer experience preferred.
• General tool, hardware, ladder and building skills.
• Experience working in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to manage high stress situations and adaptability.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends, if requested.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain/maintain all state-required cannabis badging, which requires pre-employment background check.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID card.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cultivation tasks such as transplanting, pruning, watering, pest monitoring, and harvesting.
• Maintain health of plants by feeding, pruning and caring for them.
• Maintain accurate documentation of executed tasks.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.
• Adhere to EPA & MSDS regulations for nutrients and pesticides.
• Support a large-scale commercial cultivation facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in grow areas.
• Collaborate with cultivation team to meet production goals.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development.
