Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings is hiring a Cultivation Technician in Massachusetts to maintain cannabis health during flowering and harvest phases, aligning with our protocols and compliance standards.

The role supports canopy management and harvest procedures, monitoring plant health and implementing SOPs while collaborating with IPM and cultivation teams in a high-humidity environment with strong plant odors.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older and pass a background check.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Registered Agent Card.
• Comfortable working in environments with high humidity, strong plant odors, and fluctuating temperatures.
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cannabis plants during flowering to support bud development and plant vitality.
• Perform defoliation, pruning, trellising, and staking to optimize light, airflow, and bud quality.
• Assist with harvesting in accordance with SOPs to preserve product quality and consistency.
• Identify signs of plant stress, nutrient deficiencies, pests, or diseases and report to Cultivation Lead/IPM.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of flowering rooms, tools, and equipment to prevent contamination.
• Follow company policies and comply with cannabis cultivation regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and adhere to safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
• Support IPM activities as needed per SOPs.
