Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings (AWH) is seeking a Cultivation Technician to maintain cannabis plants during flowering and harvest, ensuring health and vitality through canopy management and precise harvesting practices.

You will work with the Cultivation Lead and IPM team to monitor plant health, report stress or pests, and keep flowering rooms clean while following safety and sanitation standards. Teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older and pass a background check.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Registered Agent Card.
• Comfortable in humid environments with plant odors and fluctuating temperatures.
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cannabis plants during flowering to support bud development and plant vitality.
• Perform canopy management such as defoliation, pruning, trellising and staking to optimize light and airflow.
• Assist with harvesting while following SOPs to preserve product quality.
• Identify and report signs of plant stress, nutrient deficiencies, pests, or diseases to Cultivation Lead or IPM team.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of flowering rooms, tools and equipment to prevent contamination.
• Follow company policies and comply with local and state cannabis cultivation regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and adhere to safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
• Support IPM activities as needed in accordance with SOPs.
