Savvyherb in Illinois is seeking a Cultivation Specialist to support our cannabis cultivation facility on-site. No experience required; full-time position with an hourly wage of $16.

You will assist with plant management, quality control, logging cultivation data, and following SOPs, while ensuring health and safety of crops from propagation to pre-harvest. The role may involve cross-training and assisting other teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of related experience.
• Able to follow detailed instructions and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.
• Willing to learn about, operate and maintain facility equipment safely.
• Comfortable with heights, soil, water, and tight spaces.
• Able to stand for 8 hours, lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be 21+ and able to register with state cannabis commission.
• Must comply with industry laws and policies.

Responsibilities

• Support plant management, fertilization, insect and disease monitoring, sanitation, and overall plant growth in grow rooms.
• Clone, trim, prune, top, and train plants as directed by Cultivation Manager.
• Monitor and maintain quality control per state/local laws.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe facility and production areas.
• Report system discrepancies to Cultivation Manager.
• Inspect plants for diseases or pests and report concerns for remediation.
• Follow plant scheduling to project plant needs.
• Track and organize plants from clone to harvest using the track and trace system.
• Support cultivation and harvest teams to meet production goals.
