Job summary

Savvyherb in Illinois seeks a Cultivation Specialist to maintain cannabis plants through growth stages, including fertilization, pruning, disease monitoring, and quality control, in a warehouse setting.

You will support multiple gardens, ensure crop health and safety, and assist other teams as needed. 1st shift, full-time, on-site, $16/hour; must be 21+ and able to register with the state cannabis commission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of related experience in cultivation or regulated facilities.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to register with the state cannabis commission.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods; comfortable with heights.

Responsibilities

• Support plant management, fertilization, pest and disease monitoring, sanitation, and growth.
• Clone, trim, prune, top and train plants as directed by Cultivation Manager.
• Monitor quality control measures in compliance with state and local laws.
• Maintain logs and track cultivation activities; keep equipment clean and organized.
• Provide cross-department support as needed to meet business goals.
