Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) seeks an Account Executive to act as the brand ambassador in the NYC territory, mining sales opportunities, establishing relationships with dispensaries, and promoting our products to grow GTI's market share in the state. You will educate and engage customers, maximize sales through planning and order-writing, and support merchandising, shelving, and pricing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years sales experience in outside B2B (retailers preferred) or cannabis industry.
• Motivated, positive attitude, self-starter with a strong work ethic and organized closer.
• Excellent communicator with strong customer service and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategy and achieve sales goals and merchandising objectives.
• Know cannabis products and Green Thumb brands.
• Educate, engage, train customers and sell portfolio of goods customized for each location.
• Maintain market awareness, industry trends, and competition, and drive a successful sales model.
• Understand customer buying process and how it relates to sales, product knowledge and training.
• Develop pipeline, targets, and innovative strategies to increase opportunities and sales.
• Build and maintain relationships with dispensaries and partners to evaluate and exceed needs.
• Proactively builds touchpoints and a weekly schedule to hit sales quotas.
• Knowledge of CRM systems, track all activity and orders for each client.
• Set prices to maintain sales volume and product mix.
• Follow all SOPs related to state regulations, including cash handling and order fulfillment.
• Attend trade shows and industry events to stay current on market trends.
• Set delivery and fulfillment deadlines, and manage expectations with internal teams and customers.
