Job summary

DLH Corporation seeks a Technical Instructor / Course Developer to support CANES and C4I modernization. You will transform system updates into practical instruction, align curriculum with fleet baselines, and deliver classroom as well as hands-on training for sailors.

The role emphasizes disciplined course development using Navy tools, with a focus on network and system administration expertise and potential pilot courses across fleet training events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Formal Training Certification required.
• Navy Basic Instructor Training (NEC 805A or 9502) or equivalent trainer cert.
• Cybersecurity workforce qualification within nine months of assignment per DoD 8570/8140.
• Eight years in a technical trade (electronics, shipboard networks, or related C4I).
• Hands-on Navy shipboard networks experience, CANES or TACNET.

Responsibilities

• Review system updates to ensure CANES fleet baseline alignment.
• Develop and maintain CANES and C4I courseware, lesson plans, student guides, labs.
• Apply Instructional System Design processes to define requirements and objectives.
• Use Navy authoring tools such as CPM/LOM and AIM for curriculum development.
• Ensure materials reflect real-world system administration practices and standards.
• Deliver instructor-led classroom and hands-on instruction for pilot courses.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and incorporate feedback for accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with engineering and program teams to stay aligned with configurations.
