Job summary

Ampersand Brands is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager for the Lolli & Pops store in Minnesota. You will help drive store performance, engage guests, train and coach team members, and support the Store Manager with daily operations including ordering and inventory.

You will also maintain merchandising standards, uphold policies, and lead by example in a fast-paced, friendly environment. We offer medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and employee discounts on treats.

Responsibilities

• Help drive store-level financial and operational results by monitoring KPI targets and taking action to achieve targets
• Keep team focused on guest engagement, suggestive selling, sampling and sharing product knowledge
• Maximize sales through product knowledge education, coaching selling skills and leading by example
• Assist in hiring, training, developing and motivating team members
• Assist Store Manager with day-to-day running including ordering, inventory management and coaching
• Maintain visual and merchandising standards and ensure store cleanliness
• Enforce policies, procedures and directives consistently and effectively
• Be a champion of Lolli & Pops inside and outside of the store
• Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more per shift)
• Frequent reaching, bending, kneeling, and stooping
• Lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally
• Operate a point-of-sale system and handle small objects (candy, merchandise)
• Maintain visual and auditory ability to manage the store environment and interact with guests
• Communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and via digital tools
