Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• Five years of cancer registry abstracting experience in a CoC‑accredited facility.
• Three years of experience as a team lead or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Cancer Registry activities in accordance with state, federal and accrediting requirements.
• Support registry functions: case finding, abstracting, patient follow-up, data reporting, regulatory compliance.
• Develop and update registry policies, procedures, workflows and assessments.
• Review abstracts and medical records for coding accuracy and data quality.
• Provide guidance and education to registry staff on coding guidelines and reporting standards.
• Represent the Institute on committees and support oncology accreditation activities.
