Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee seeks an Oncology Scheduling Coordinator to coordinate multidisciplinary care across the network for cancer patients. You will triage calls, manage scheduling queues, and ensure timely, coordinated care with patients and care teams.

No prior oncology experience required, but associate degree is required; experience with oncology scheduling preferred. Strong medical terminology knowledge and proficient in Word/Excel are important.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; or equivalent experience in intake, registration, scheduling.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and effective written/verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines in scheduling.
• Experience with oncology scheduling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling of complex multidisciplinary cancer care across the network.
• Triages a high volume of calls and manages scheduling work queues.
• Facilitate communication among patients, families, care teams and providers.
• Navigate the health system to ensure timely, coordinated care for patients.
