StackAdapt is seeking a Payroll Specialist to own end-to-end Canadian payroll across multiple provinces, ensuring accurate and timely payments. You will review inputs, ensure CRA compliance, and reconcile records while collaborating with People Experience, Finance, and external providers to maintain precise payroll data.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multi-province Canadian payroll processing experience.
• Working knowledge of CRA regulations, provincial payroll requirements, statutory deductions, remittances, and year-end processes.
• Experience with payroll and HRIS platforms, such as ADP Workforcenow, UKG, Rippling or similar systems.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving, process improvement, and supporting payroll projects.

Responsibilities

• Own and process end-to-end Canadian payroll across multiple provinces, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
• Review and validate payroll inputs including hires, terminations, changes, bonuses, and other earnings and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with federal and provincial payroll legislation, including remittances and year-end filings.
• Reconcile payroll registers and general ledger entries, and maintain audit-ready records.
• Partner with People Experience, Finance, external providers, and employees to resolve payroll issues and keep data up to date.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and support system implementations and integrations.
