Job summary

Xylem is shaping the future of water infrastructure by delivering AMI, Smart Grid, and utility distribution projects across Canada. You will lead a regional team of Project Managers and Application Engineers to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery while upholding customer specifications and high service standards.

The role emphasizes technical leadership in Sensus FlexNet, data security, and cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Support, Engineering, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of combined experience in project management, field service, and/or applications engineering; 3+ years in leadership or people management.
• Experience in utility distribution services or operations (water, gas, electric).
• Strong knowledge of utility operations, business processes, and software platforms including MDM and CIS.
• PM skills across client relations, budget/scope, schedules, and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel within Canada to support customers, projects, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a regional team of Project Managers and Application Engineers across Canada.
• Oversee installation, service, and warranty execution of utility distribution, Smart Grid, and AMI projects within the Canadian region.
• Coordinate all customer and project activities including system acceptance, maintenance, and warranty services.
• Monitor project activity, address customer service and field maintenance issues, and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Architect customer solutions leveraging Sensus services and products and ensure regulatory compliance.
